Professional Employment

Wen YANG received his B. S. in 2002 from Beijing Normal University and Ph. D. in 2007 (under the supervision of Prof. Kai CHANG) from Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2007, he joined the theoretical group of Prof. Ren-bao Liu as a postdoctoral fellow in Department of Physics, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. In 2008, he joined the theoretical group of Prof. L. J. Sham as a research scholar in Department of Physics, University of California, San Diego. In the November of 2011, he joined Beijing Computational Science Research Center as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor, and then promoted to Associate Professor in 2017.


Research Interests

(1) Spin-based solid-state quantum information.

(2) Ultra-sensitive measurement and quantum metrology.

(3) Spin-dependent electronic and optical properties of semiconductor nanostructures and novel materials.
