Research Interests


1. Condensed Matter Theory:  topological phases of quantum matter (currently focused on topological superconductors and Majorana fermions), semiconductor spintronics.


2. Theoretical Cold Atoms: simulation of exotic topological states, synthetic gauge fields and spin-orbit coupling effects, and many-body physics.
